OPENPOTS FIRST ARTIST OF THE WEEK: sManyC!



sManyC is a sneaking fan of rock-music. But he decided to rap because of the possibility to contain more subject matters in his music than it was in other genres. And he is certainly someone who has much to say.
He was born in 1985 in Novi Pazar, an university town in south-western Serbia. During the Yugoslav War he resorted with his family to Germany. It was not easy for him there. As many emigrants he approximately lived on the street. In this time he began to write rap-lyrics and played his first performances when he was 14 years old.

He never stopped to perform his songs; he has come a long way and has been the supporting act of Bushido, Germanys most popular hip-hop act, at present. Anyhow hes wedded with the gangster-rappers from Berlin who often have a migration background, too.
Withal he is not a gangster rapper himself as he assured.Even though he uses dirty words, does homage to himself and runs other crews down befitting the guild of German guttersnipes. But he does this with clever rhymes, felicitous comparisons and some hard verbalizations in his huge vocabulary.He appears in contrast to many of his competitors not as a brainless prole who can do nothing but blustering
The intention of his music is to illustrate the violent contrast between a life on the streets and a lifestyle that brings along boundless possibilities. He wants to touch his listeners deeply.
He raps conceptional and emotional on a high intellectual level. sManyCBut he also tells us unambiguously how self-opinionated he is

sManyC is a MC who lets things slide the way he wants. As a king he does what he wants to. As a king he poses on the picture on his profile-site - unimpeachable above everything around him. According to that he says that proudness, honor, his family and his home country are the most important things to him beside girls and chocolate . Its also essential to him that his listeners apprehend the humor and the subtle irony in his lyrics. He commiserates, that people often do not occupy themselves with the lyrics they are listening to.

By hearing his music you recognize how much he gets a kick out of making music and how much he feels like a majesty by. He spends five days a week with making music. Accordingly majestic are the beats he raps on.
Astonishingly his musical model is Michael Jackson. But he does not orient himself by him. His music is riddled with orchestral sounds according to classical patterns highlighted by a concrete, full bed of Bass and Drums. It motivates to nod in step but its ever diversified because of unusual much varieties of the mood. Referring to the last line before the third hook of the above-mentioned song
